Alyssa Farrell

Global Lead, Industry Product Marketing - Energy

Alyssa Farrell is the global lead for industry product marketing for SAS’ business within the energy sector, including Utilities and Oil and Gas. In this role, she focuses on the SAS solutions that help optimize our energy infrastructure by applying predictive analytics to complex data.

Alyssa has been a guest speaker at numerous events and webcasts emphasizing analytics for the energy industry, and speaks regularly with trade associations, analysts and the press. She currently serves on the Analytics Roadmap Working Group of the Utility Analytics Institute, the Advisory Committee of the Research Triangle Cleantech Council, and the Energy Cluster Council of UNC Charlotte’s Energy Production and Infrastructure Center. She is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE).

Alyssa joined SAS in 2004 and has been in various product marketing roles since then. Prior to joining SAS, Alyssa was a senior consultant in the Deloitte Public Sector practice. She earned her MBA degree with a concentration in Management Information Systems from the University of Arizona. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors from Duke University.
