Bob is Senior Vice President with Innowatts, a Houston based Energy Technology firm that is applying cutting edge predictive energy analytics and AI enabled solutions to solve some of the industry’s most significant current challenges, and transform large portions of the energy value chain.

Since 2014, Innowatts has delivered a suite of predictive energy analytics to Retail Energy Providers, Local Distribution Utilities, Energy Services Companies and Energy Aggregators. The Innowatts solution suite is built on a customer-level predictive energy profiling and disaggregation methodology that predicts customer behaviors with a high degree of confidence, and uses that intelligence to help lower cost, reduce risk and uncertainty, and deliver a highly personalized customer experience. Among their key clients include Direct Energy, Shell, Iberdrola, APS and PGE.
Innowatts vision is creating the world’s first fully digital retail energy platform, using predictive customer energy intelligence to transform (and in many cases, automate) major parts the retail energy value chain. This integrated eUtility Solution™ currently covers areas such as energy forecasting, automated trading and scheduling, portfolio risk management, personalized pricing and programs, and a fully reengineered customer experience. Their solution is currently being used by energy aggregators, smart energy communities, CCA’s, energy retailers and new market entrants, creating a radically different operating model for how energy is bought, sold, managed and consumed at a retail level.

Bob has been affiliated with Innowatts since their inception in 2014. Prior to that he spent over 25 years in the energy sector in both corporate and consulting capacities. After starting his career at Entergy in New Orleans, Bob spent several years as a consultant with KPMG, UMS Group, and onVector Consulting where he consulted with over 100 utilities and competitive energy providers globally, helping them leverage customer and business analytics to help optimize costs, reliability and customer experience. His work has spanned both regulated and competitive energy markets, as well as a range of public power and member owned utilities.

Bob currently leads Innowatts’ Marketing and Business Development area where he is responsible for aligning Innowatts’ capabilities to new clients, markets and business partners to help meet current industry challenges and address emerging business opportunities.
