Brian Hurst recently assumed the role of Chief Analytics Officer for Exelon Utilities. In his new role, he will be responsible for the analytics strategy across all Exelon Utilities. Previously, Hurst was Director of Customer Programs and Business Analytics and responsible for overseeing all aspects of new customer programs, existing demand response and demand pricing products, and customer analytics. He was also charged with establishing a new analytics department responsible for evolving the maturity of ComEd and Exelon Utilities customer analytics capabilities. His team focused on helping customer operations to identify and support answering the difficult questions. This is achieved by leveraging modern technologies and advanced analytics to provide new products that can range from enhanced reporting to predictive analytics, insights, and innovations. Hurst also serves on a number of strategic growth and operation efforts across Exelon, Exelon Utilities, and ComEd (e.g., Utility of the Future).
Prior to joining ComEd, Brian served as an Executive Director at EY responsible for building their utilities customer practice. Before that, he led various customer offerings as a Partner at Accenture. Brian brings over 26 years of strategy and implementation experience in customer operations management, digital solutions, customer experience innovation, analytics and technology enablement. This has included delivering projects for 75 different companies (including 57 different utilities).
